The Marina family was inspired by diving watches built in the 1930's through 50's
primarily for the Italian Navy. The watches of this family aim to build on the
combination of striking simplicity and sophistication of details of those time pieces.
Straps, handmade from vintage leather, plexi glass crystals like the ones used at the time,
as well as dials and hands carefully finished by hand, all contribute to the vintage feel of these watches. While watches of this family are generally powered by high quality Swiss hand-wind movements, we occasionally offer some watches with vintage movements that are similar to the movements that were used by Rolex in the watches that inspired this series. All Marina watches come with a display case back that exposes the beautiful movement. |
